COMFY, CASUAL, CHIC!

Comfy casual chic is the fashion trend of 2021 and I’m here for it! The defining outfit of 2020 has been the sweat suit. The once-sloppy ensemble is now considered… chic? A sweat suit might not be the pinnacle of fashion on its own, but when styled right, it’s a look these days. Casual chic attire basically requires that you mix a dressy element, like tailored slacks or a very feminine blouse, with something completely informal like a leather jacket or a pair of jeans.

For today’s outfit, I opted for neutral sweatpants paired with a chic blazer, sleek sunnies and topped it off with some comfy kicks. The polished-ness of the blazer balances out the relaxed feel of the sweatpants and sneakers. I’m also taking comfort to a whole other level with this seamless bra top… It’s a tank I don’t have to wear a bra with which is truly freeing! No wires digging into me anywhere and light padding so no poky nipple situation happening here!

For a cute and casual look that requires minimal effort, wear the same color from head to toe. All-black is typically my go-to, but for a slight twist, try navy or beige. If you think the outfit’s still missing something, layer on accessories like a designer bag.
